When we announced our first steps into the StarCraft II community, we were overwhelmed by the hugely positive reaction of its fans. From that moment on we knew we had to expand our team and add more value to this scene.
We have been looking for a player who fits both Harstem as a team member and fits Asterion’s mentality of performing at their best level while also having fun. After watching several matches and interviews it was clear to us that soO fits in our team perfectly.
In order to make sure our communication and overall management of soO goes well we have hired the services of StarCraft II’s favourite French translator: Hajinsun.
soO is currently ranked as one of the best Zerg players in StarCraft II worldwide. 2018 hasn’t been the best year for soO so far in GSL tournaments and therefore he currently holds 11th place in WCS Korea standings. However soO has had an incredible run at last year’s World Championships at Blizzcon and therefore we are excited to welcome him into our ranks!
Amon Havers – Esports Director, Asterion:
“I have met soO at the last Homestory Cup in Krefeld, Germany. soO explained how he would love to be part of a European team to gain access to more European tournaments and the European way of working together. I knew I was going to get along with soO very well and wanted him to be part of Asterion ever since. It is therefore one of the proudest moments in my personal esports history to welcome soO to Asterion.”
